Position Summary: As a home care attendant, one is responsible for assisting patients with daily tasks such as eating and mobility. Additionally, monitoring and recording vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate and temperature is also a key responsibility. If any changes in the patient's mental or emotional state are noticed, it is the attendant's duty to notify the nurse immediately. Home care also involves being aware of potential hazards, like the risk of patients falling while performing daily activities, and taking necessary precautions to prevent them.
